Wheelchair Bound Woman Tries To Rob Jewelry Store - Botched Get Away Ends in Land Fill

Ranking high in the stupidest hold-up in history category - and it was all captured on CCTV film.
A woman with a large, black rubbish sack over her head and body attempted to rob a jewelery shop while her accomplice waited outside with her getaway vehicle - a wheelchair.
The farcical hold-up began when Noemi Duchene arrived outside the jewelers in El Paso, Texas, having been pushed to the store in a wheelchair, the Daily Mail reports.
As CCTV cameras captured her arrival outside the Estate and New Jewelery store, the 44-year-old rises out of the wheelchair.
She clumsily covers her head and body with a billowing black rubbish sack with two holes cut out for her eyes before walking into the store.
Once inside she pulls out a 30cm-long hunting knife, approaches owner Linda Bradley and demands "everything".
But Ms Bradley - who is clearly a cool head in a crisis or recognizes a blithering idiot when she sees one - swiftly assessed the situation.
Rather than be scared, the CCTV shows Bradley running behind the counter to grab a pink-colored stun gun and giving chase.
Reaching her get-away wheelchair, the would be robber discovered her driver had fled. Due to a weak battery she was unable to outrun the angry shop owner who 'stunned' her into submission whilst waiting for the police to arrive. After several minutes a passing garbage collection truck stopped and tossed the robber inside with the other garbage. The woman was taken to a land fill where she was arrested by police before she could be turned under.
It was not known if the garbage bag robber was represented by an attorney but probably not. It also was not known if she had a psychiatrist, either, but probably not.

Unique Snowman Spooks Neighbors - Cops Called

HAYDEN, Idaho — A white separatist drew complaints from neighbors and a visit from law enforcement officers after building a snowman shaped like a member of the Ku Klux Klan on his front lawn. The 10-foot-tall snowman was holding what appeared to be a noose. Deputies were called by neighbors who were appalled by the pointy-headed snowman with two dark eyes.
The town of Hayden for decades earned notoriety for being near the former rural compound of the Aryan Nations.
The snowman builder, Mark Eliseuson, has angered his neighbors in the past by flying Aryan Nations flags at his home. At Halloween he passed out bullet casings after he said he ran out of candy.
Eliseuson removed the noose and toppled the snowman after he talked with officers.
But Eliseuson told KXLY-TV of Spokane that he sees nothing wrong with the snowman. "It's just a snowman, like Frosty."

Man Who Survived Execution To Be Re-Executed

The Ohio Supreme Court has rejected Broom's request to leave death row, after the state stopped his execution in September 2009 after failing to find a usable vein.
Broom's would-be executioners made 18 attempts to insert a needle into one of his veins that would carry the deadly cocktail of drugs through his body until he was pronounced dead by a handy physician. The execution was called off by the State Governor while the execution team discussed its next move.
Broom's lawyers will likely file an appeal asking that his execution he halted as constituting cruel and unusual punishment pursuant to the 8th Amendment to the U.S. Constitution.
In a statement, Broom said he suffered excruciating pain throughout the ordeal and plans to sue the state for his mistreatment if his appeal to be released into the prison general population is granted. His attorney told him to shut up because he was busy in a discussion with a group of film executives who were eager to make Broom's failure to die into a made for television movie, starring Wesley Snipes.
Snipes also is headed to prison for 3 years after being convicted of tax evasion, so the movie could be delayed.
Mel Gibson was said to be available for the role but is white whereas Broom is black. Broom's spokesperson said Broom did not want to be portrayed by some hyped-up honky. Gibson's response was unprintable.

A Miami mother who failed to ever discipline her son and encouraged the unruly, disrespectful boy to disrupt his classroom, abuse his classmates and to refuse to follow instructions and orders from the teacher, accepted a $350,000 settlement paid by the school district and the teachers' group because the boy was made to stand in front of his classmates and listen to their complaints about him.
In a frivolous law suit filed by an out-of-work attorney, it was claimed the boy suffered severe psychological damage and a sense of failure from the verbal abuse heaped on him by his tormented classmates. The mother, who also had demanded a public apology from the school board for the incident, dropped the apology demand when shown the $350,000 check, saying no amount of money could atone for the extreme psychological distress suffered by her son when forced to hear that his classmates thought he was a mean, disrespectful, bully and all around unpleasant kid.
A photo of the bully boy was unavailable because the boy kicked the photographer in the groin and stomped on his camera.

An official government investigation has reported that U.S. authorities used an anti-malarial drug, mefloquine, in massive doses, to psychologically torture prisoners at Guantanamo. The drug, improperly dosed, is known to cause severe hallucinations, acute paranoia, fear and extreme anxiety. The photo insert depicts a man who overdosed on the drug. It was not known for what purpose the drug was used on the Guantanamo prisoners because there are no claims it can cause users to reveal secrets or other strategic information. It appears to have been used solely as a form of torture inflicted on the prisoners or to take funny photos like the above to send to friends and family.

Chinese Woman Who Carried Dead Fetus Inside Her Body For Sixty Years - Said Relieved

STUNNED doctors in China discovered a woman who complained of stomach ache had been carrying her unborn child for 60 YEARS.
Huang Yijun, 92, of Huangjiaotan, southern China, was told by medics in 1948 that her child had died in the womb. Doctors demanded £100 to remove it, so she walked away. She said: “It was a huge sum at the time – more than the whole family earned in several years so I did nothing and ignored it.” But the secret emerged when Huang hurt her stomach and went to a hospital for a scan.
Dr Liu Anbin at Qingshen hospital said: “I couldn’t believe my eyes when I discovered she had a baby in her belly. “I’ve been a doctor for more than 40 years and it’s the first time I have seen something like this.” Now medics are carrying out further tests to see if Huang needs an operation to remove the baby. Consultant Xu Xianming, director of the Obstetrics and Gynecology department at the hospital, said: “Normally a dead foetus would decay. It’s very rare that Huang can be so healthy.”
Yijun has beaten an Indonesian woman who carried a dead baby for 27 years:
Indonesian surgeons delivered a 27-year-old baby from a middle-aged housewife who had carried the dead body inside her because she was too poor to have it removed, doctors said on Wednesday. A team of 15 doctors operated for three hours on Tuesday to retrieve the 1.6kg petrified baby from the 54-year-old woman, identified as Taminah, at the Sutomo general hospital in the Java island city of Surabaya.
“This may be a world record. The woman has carried the dead but fully developed baby inside her for 27 years,” said Dr Urip Murtejo. He said the woman was otherwise healthy but had been referred to the hospital from her home of Bojenegoro, west of Surabaya, after complaining of occasional pains in her stomach. Taminah’s baby perished before birth in 1978 after it developed outside the womb. At the time, she could not afford the surgery to extract it, Murtejo said. The woman was recovering at the hospital and was said to be in good health after the operation. The petrified body of the baby, pictured in the 2 photos above was taken for forensic study.
