Man Claims He Hid Camera To See If His Stepdaughter Had Pelvic Tattoos

After a hidden camera was found in the ceiling vent of his stepdaughter’s bathroom, a Florida man told cops that he placed it there in order to determine whether the 22-year-old woman had received “tattoos in her pelvic area,” according to a police report.

The camera was found yesterday by the woman in the Bradenton home she shares with her mother and stepfather, Arnoldo Martinez, 54. The woman “pulled out the camera and started to investigate,” deputies noted in a Manatee County Sheriff’s Office report.

After discovering the camera, the woman “located where the camera was plugged into an extension cord in the attic and then contacted police.” When an officer subsequently explained that a receiver was needed to view images captured by the camera,” the woman “entered her parents room” and “located a receiver plugged into her parents TV.”

Martinez, who investigators summoned from work, admitted that he “placed the camera in the vent in order to view [the woman’s] tattoos and report them back to her mother.” He also acknowledged that one storage card contained video of his stepdaughter recorded the prior evening.

According to investigators, Martinez admitted that he was aware that the surreptitious filming was illegal, but that he “wanted evidence that [his stepdaughter] did have tattoos in her pelvic area.” He added that a seized recording contained “images of her naked but he could only really view her breasts in the video.”

Pictured in the above mug shot, Martinez was charged with felony video voyeurism since he allegedly installed the camera to secretly view and record the woman for his “personal gratification.”
Martinez was released today from the Manatee County jail after posting $1500 bond. He is scheduled for an August 2 Circuit Court hearing.

JULY 8--The Oklahoma woman who had a loaded handgun concealed in her vagina when she was arrested earlier this year on a drug charge has been sentenced to 25 years in state prison, according to court records.
Christie Dawn Harris, 28, last week entered no contest pleas to three felony counts during a hearing in Pontotoc County District Court. Harris, whose rap sheet already includes multiple felony convictions, copped on June 27 to possession of methamphetamine with intent to distribute, gun possession, and bringing contraband into jail.
Judge Steven Kessinger sentenced Harris to serve 25 years on each count, with the penalties to run concurrently. He also ordered her to pay $1363 in court costs and fees.
Harris, seen in the adjacent mug shot, was arrested in March after a drug dog alerted to a vehicle in which she and another woman were seated (the car was parked outside a closed restaurant at 3:45 AM). A subsequent search of the Toyota Yaris turned up meth, drug paraphernalia, a .25 caliber semi-automatic pistol, and a loaded magazine.
While being transported to jail, Harris told a cop “several times that she needed to go to the bathroom,” according to an Ada Police Department report.
During processing at the jail, Harris balked when directed to lower her underwear so that a female officer could check for contraband. She “advised that she was on her period and did not want to,” cops noted.
After Harris complied with police, Officer Kathy Unbewust reported, “I observed at that time a wooden and metal item sticking out from her vagina area.” Unbewust then “pulled the item from her vagina, and found it to be a 5 shot revolver with rounds in the chamber.”
The handgun, which was disassembled by cops, is seen in the above left evidence photo.
Investigators subsequently identified the weapon as a Freedom Arms .22-caliber handgun, which was loaded with three live rounds and one spent shell. The police report notes that “gun located in suspect vagina.”  The gun is depicted below, not actual size.

Florida Dog "Lover" Charged

Florida Man, 25, Arrested For Strangling, Then Cooking His Mother's Puppy

A Florida man has been jailed for allegedly strangling his mother’s puppy, cutting the animal in pieces, and cooking its ribs in a pot on the stove.

According to Tampa cops, Thomas Elliot Huggins, 25, killed the puppy, named “Bandit,” early yesterday morning and then “cut up the dog into quarters and stored it in the freezer for future meals.”
After a family member learned about the dog’s killing, police were summoned last night to the Huggins home, where officers “found the dog’s ribs cooked in a pot on the stove” and the pet’s head in the garbage. Huggins told cops that he had actually consumed part of the animal.

According to a Tampa Police Department report, Huggins’s mother Margie showed one cop “a pair of full ribs on the stove that appeared to be fully cooked,” as well as “the quartered parts of her dog that were stored in the freezer.” Huggins’s sister told the patrolman that her brother “has not been right” for years, and “goes on and on about religion and the lord telling him to do things.”

Huggins told the cop that he “choked the dog with his bare hands” after the pet “began to be aggressive towards him.” He then described how he dismembered “Bandit” with a steak knife. Huggins explained that he “went about his day,” and then, around 6 PM, “put the ribs in a pot and cooked them on the stove… Mr. Huggins advised that he did indeed eat some of the rib meat.”

Claiming that he did not think his actions were wrong, Huggins told police that he “learned how to clean an animal from his mom as they have done it in the past with squirrels and rabbits.”
Seen in the above mug shot, Huggins was arrested on a felony cruelty to animals charge. He was subsequently booked into the Hillsborough County jail, where he is being held in lieu of $2000 bond.

Man Has Public Sex With Love Seat

JUNE 24--A man who was caught last year having sex with a couch discarded on a Wisconsin street pleaded guilty this afternoon to a public lewdness charge.

During a hearing in Waukesha County Circuit Court, Gerard Streator, 47, copped to a misdemeanor charge stemming from September’s illicit curbside encounter.

Seen in the adjacent mug shot, Streator was sentenced to five months in jail (though the execution of the term was stayed) and placed on a year’s probation. Additionally, Streator was ordered to pay $243 in court costs, directed to “maintain absolute sobriety,” and barred from possessing “pornography of any kind.”

According to a criminal complaint sworn by a Waukesha City Police Department officer, Streator’s 11 PM furniture tryst was interrupted by an off-duty cop out jogging. Officer Ryan Edwards reported spotting “a subject leaning over the couch facing down and it looked like he was having sexual relations with someone on the couch.” Edwards added that he “could see the male’s hips thrusting up and down on the couch.”
When Edwards approached and yelled, “What are you doing?,” Streator dismounted the love seat and ran away. As the suspect fled, Edwards reported, he “could see that the defendant’s penis was erect.”

The officer concluded that Streator--who was alone--“had been thrusting his pelvic area against the cushions and trying to sexually gratify himself by rubbing his penis between the two cushions.”

Streator’s guilty plea came two months after a Circuit Court judge ruled that he was competent to stand trial, a decision that followed the jurist’s receipt of a court-ordered psychologist’s report. (2 pages)

Marijuana Grow House Discovered After Refrigerator Explodes

Exploding fridge leads to pot find in San Diego

Jun 28 2013

SAN DIEGO (AP) — Authorities say an exploding refrigerator led them to a marijuana-growing operation in San Diego.

City News Service says the fridge exploded and caused a fire Thursday afternoon at a home in the Encanto neighborhood.

It took firefighters about 30 minutes to douse the fire and there were no injuries.

However, police say authorities later discovered marijuana growing at the house and a quantity of flammable hash oil, which apparently caused the explosion.
Three people were held for questioning.

Man Rips Off Own Genitals Outside Middle School

June 28, 2013
Ypsilanti, Mich.

A naked man was found bloody and screaming after he ripped off a part of his penis and scrotum during a drug-fueled craze, police say.

The 41-year-old Columbus, Ohio, native, whose name has not been reported, was found at about 1 a.m. on June 18 after Washtenaw County Sheriff’s deputies responded to an alarm set off by a broken window at Ypsilanti Middle School in Ypsilanti, Mich., according to the Detroit Free Press. Once they arrived, they said they found the man kneeling outside the school, naked and bloody from the waist down, with a portion of his genitals ripped off.

“He mutilated his genitals with his bare hands,” Sgt. Geoff Fox told AnnArbor.com. "He was doing a lot of yelling and screaming."

Investigators say he admitted to taking "magic" mushrooms before flipping out and trying to claw off his own penis and scrotum, according to The Columbus Dispatch. It took at least six officers to subdue him, the report notes.

Parts of his body were transferred to the hospital with him.

“In terms of vital signs, they were as low as they could go without being dead — I could only assume due to the blood loss and the shock and trauma to the body,” Fox told the Detroit Free Press reports.
AnnArbor.com reported an initial toxicology report didn't reveal anything but stated that more extensive testing will be done. He is currently in stable condition. Police will seek burglary charges against him.
