Man trying to save parking spot for wife gets run over.

Authorities said a man intentionally ran over another man who was trying to save a parking spot at a gas station on Monday. The Lee County Sheriff's Office reported that the victim was standing in a spot to reserve it for his wife at the Murphy USA gas station.

The man saving the spot told deputies that he held up his hands when another man pulled up to the line, but the man drove forward and hit him in the knees.

When the victim yelled at the man to stop, authorities said the suspect pulled forward and hit the man again, causing bruising and swelling. Other witnesses backed up the victim's story.

However, witnesses said the woman had been there earlier in her car, but had left to run errands, leaving her husband to keep her place.

The suspect was arrested and charged with misdemeanor battery. Police were trying to determine if the wife should be charged with reckless endangerment. "She left her defenseless husband there, alone, to defend against 4,000 pound vehicles," said one of the officers.

A Kenton County man had to prove that he was no longer capable of fathering children, after he pled guilty of incest with his sister, resulting in two children.

In August 2006, a social worker for Families and Children's Dept. of Community Based Services reported to Covington Police that James Deaver of Newport, may have impregnated his sister Linda Deaver.

Covington Det. Brian Frodge discovered that James, 40, was a registered sex offender after having been convicted of incest in Campbell County in 1998.

Frodge also learned that the prior incest conviction was the result of a consensual sexual relationship with his 37-year-old sister Linda.

The prior relationship resulted in the birth of a child that was seriously developmentally delayed.

After awaiting the birth of the second child, Frodge obtained DNA samples from the child and James. DNA testing through the Kentucky State Police Forensic Crime Lab indicated that there was a 99.99-percent chance that James was the father. James and Linda indicated there was a 100% chance that he was the father.

Frodge obtained arrest warrants for both James and Linda Deaver in November 2007.

Both Deavers were indicted for incest in February 2008. Linda pled guilty as charged March 26, and agreed to testify against James. And June 30, he also pled guilty as charged. At the plea hearing James told the Judge, "Your honor, you just do the best you can. My sister and I have always been very close. We always tried to help each other out. That's what families are for."

After receiving proof from defense counsel that James had voluntarily undergone a procedure to render him incapable of fathering more children(a dickectomy), Asst. Commonwealth's Attorney Laura Ward recommended a sentence of five years probated for five years on the condition that he have no contact with Linda and continue to register as a sexual offender.

Final sentencing for both defendants is July 29.

A man who tried to cool out his hyper cat by stuffing her into a boxlike homemade bong faces cruelty charges _ and catcalls from animal lovers. Lancaster County sheriff's deputies responding to a domestic disturbance call Sunday alleged they saw 20-year-old Acea Schomaker smoking marijuana through a piece of garden hose attached to a duct-taped, plastic glass box in which the cat had been stuffed.

"This cat was just dazed," Sgt. Andy Stebbing said. "She was on the front seat of the cop car, wrapped in a blanket, and never moved all the way to the humane society."

Schomaker told deputies 6-month-old Shadow was hyper and he was trying to calm her down. The contraption she had been stuffed inside was 12 inches by 6 inches. Shadow was timid but in good condition Monday at the Capital Humane Society, executive director Bob Downey said.

"What the human mind doesn't invent, huh?" Downey said.

Schomaker, who was released from jail after paying a $400 fine on the arrest warrant, faces drug and misdemeanor animal cruelty charges. He did not immediately respond to phone messages left Monday seeking comment.

Sharon Osbourne, Piers Morgan and David Hasselhoff were left agog during the latest round of America's Got Talent auditions after a hopeful smashed beer cans with her 40lb breasts.

Busty Heart, as she is know, crushed nine beer cans simultaneously with her right breast in a rather peculiar attempt to impress the judges.

The former exotic dancer stuck pictures of Morgan and Hasselhoff's faces to the cans, which ended up flattened on the table.

Busty, whose real name is Susan Sykes, left the studio audience stunned when she appeared on US reality show America's Got Talent.

A gasp echoed out around the Los Angeles studio as the nightclub owner took to the stage with her 88-inch chest.

'I'm going to crush objects with my breasts,' the 47-year-old brunette said. 'Don't try this at home.'

Her act was so shocking that TV cameras only captured it from the back of the stage - it was not deemed suitable for a prime-time audience.

Busty could just about be seen lifting up her right breast and slamming it down on the table.

Cameras then cut back to a close up of the ex-model, holding up the squashed drink cans.

'If you were on Baywatch, we would have lasted another 11 years,' Hasselhoff laughed, before all three judges refused to send her through to the next round of the competition.

Busty is no stranger to the limelight.

The stunt came after the actor had infuriated fans by mooning at the crowd during a Lakers game.

And in July 1997, Bennie Casson filed a $100,000 lawsuit against a club in Belleville, Illinois, after a stripper allegedly slammed her breasts into his neck and head.

Casson claimed that Sykes had left him with a 'bruised, contused, lacerated' neck.

Police cite breast-feeding driver for endangering

Police in Ohio say a Buckeye woman has been charged with child endangering after another motorist reported she was both breast-feeding a youngster and talking on a cell phone while driving.

Police in the Dayton suburb of Kettering say the caller told them he saw the woman Thursday. He followed her car for more than 3 miles to make certain what he thought he was seeing was real. He denied being a voyeur.

Officer Burke Buckeye says authorities used a license plate number to track down a 39-year-old woman.

He said the woman admitted the incident and told officers she was breast-feeding and wouldn't let her child go hungry. When asked why she couldn't pull over to the side of the road, the woman reportedly told officers she, too, was hungry and was in a hurry to get to Taco Bell for a 69 cent taco special.

Burke said the legal concern is that the mother had a child in her lap while driving, not that she was breast-feeding in public.

"She can stand in front of City Hall, topless, and nurse her baby if she wants. It's the driving, while talking on a cell phone, and breast-feeding an unrestrained child in her lap that make it a problem," said an unidentified by-stander with no interest in the matter.

He said the child was under 2 years old.

Police say the woman faces up to 180 days in jail and a $1,800 fine if convicted of the misdemeanor. It was not clear how the woman could spend six months in jail without the baby getting hungry. And a $1800 fine, too, makes it a death sentence for the baby due to the cost of formula. State legislators responsible for the law said they did not intend to impose the death penalty on babies for the crimes of their mothers; that would be too harsh and would endanger the child even more said one particularly dim-witted law maker.

Police: Man uses fake money to buy fake drugs from fake cop

A man was arrested after police said he used counterfeit money to purchase fake OxyContin pills from a fake undercover officer. Unicoi County Sheriff's deputies arrested a 21-year-old man on Tuesday and charged him with criminal conspiracy with schedule II drugs, forgery and criminal simulation, also know as faking a crime.

Investigator Floyd Blogers said the fake officer met with several fake people at a mobile home park and arranged for the suspect and another man to come to Unicoi to buy 76 fake OxyContin pills for $4,875.

Officers said it was "obviously fake money" with some bills printed on just one side. (Duh!)

Authorities also tracked down a fake device believed used to make the counterfeit money.

The Johnson City Press reported officers expect to make more arrests in the case, some of which may be fake.
