Porcupine Spoils Python's Dinner
June 28, 2015
Porcupine spoils python's dinner.
An overly ambitious or extremely hungry python made the mistake of swallowing a porcupine whole. This is how pythons eat. They squeeze their prey to death and then swallow the entire carcass. The porcupine's quills made mincemeat of the python's digestive tract, resulting in the death of both animals.
Porcupine quills have very little nutritional value so the snake might have starved anyway, following a huge case of heartburn.
