Tidying Up In Order To Sell

Feb. 4, 2013

Anywhere, USA

With high unemployment, chaotic housing prices, millions of unsold houses, foreclosures, and former homeowners who now are living with relatives, friends or in their cars, one would think homeowners forced to sell or lose their homes would put special effort into making their homes attractive and presentable to prospective buyers.  But such is not always the case.  Shown here are houses that invite disgust from prospective home buyers.  The homeowners submitted the photos shown here to the realtors trying to sell these "fixer uppers." One of these, which lists for more than $800,000, is a veritable pig sty.  The pig in the photo lives in the house.
