January 28, 2010

Hicksville, MS

A Hicksville woman who filed a complaint against an online clothing retailer, stated in her claim that: "They flat out lied to me, to my face. They ruirned my anniversary trip by sending me the wrong size pants."

The woman said the company's online ad guaranteed they could "fit any size woman" but when her new pants arrived, she "couldn't even zip those suckers shut." She said she had to cancel her 20th anniversary fishing trip because of the improperly fitted pants.

The woman, who asked to remain "synonymous" because she didn't want her husband to find out she was overweight, said she was mortified and almost had a nervous breakdown. She enclosed a photo of the ill-fitting pants with her written complaint, to demonstrate her point.

A spokesperson for the state agency, who also requested synonimity, because he/she couldn't stop laughing, said it might be several weeks before any action was taken on the complaint due to a backlog of similar complaints filed by other MS women.
