Charlie Manson - Then and Now

More than forty years ago Charles Manson, a charismatic drug guru and leader of a hippy family in California, was convicted of orchestrating the barbaric Tate-La Bianca thrill killings and was sentenced to life in prison. He has been denied parole on 11 occasions.
These two photos reveal what Manson looked like in 1969, when he was 35 and what he looks like today, at age 77.

It has cost the citizens of California roughly $860,000 to keep him incarcerated for 43 years.
