Former House Speaker and Dancing With the Stars dropout, Tom DeLay, who was rumored to have had plastic surgery to fix a permanent smile on his face, accused the State of Texas for his conviction, saying it was all a bunch of liberals out to get him. DeLay doesn't question his conviction; claims he never should have been tried, and that jury foreman was a member of Greenpeace.
Can the liberals really do this? Hot damn, let's indict George W. Bush and Dick Cheney, too. Texas has jurisdiction over GWB and Cheney could be extradited. Cheney would arrange to have a heart transplant during the trial, to get sympathy. He already has a plastic heart so he can clear TSA screening without having to strip to his titanium athletic supporter. But hey, Cheney is a generous guy. If he ever dies he has bequeathed his brain to the American Psychiatric Association for research on the causes of pathological dying.
